
Associate Vulnerability Researcher (Hybrid- Istanbul)
We are looking for an Associate Vulnerability Researcher who is eager to explore cybersecurity threats, analyze vulnerabilities, and contribute to improving security intelligence. This role is ideal for someone passionate about tracking global trends, understanding Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for vulnerabilities, and working with a team of cybersecurity experts.
As part of the Cybersecurity Research team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with data researchers, security analysts, and engineers to track, analyze, and enhance our vulnerability intelligence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Research
Track and analyze global vulnerability trends from security news feeds, hacker forums, and public reports.
Review and evaluate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for vulnerabilities when required.
Extract actionable intelligence from published vulnerability reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine processes for tagging and tracking vulnerabilities efficiently.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with data research, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to integrate research findings into company processes and tools.
Provide clear, well-structured insights in English-written communications when assisting clients or internal teams on vulnerability-related topics.
Share ideas and actively contribute to improving research workflows and team operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, either through coursework, certifications (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+), personal projects, or structured training programs.
Curiosity and a strong desire to learn about vulnerabilities, exploit development, and real-world cybersecurity threats.
Analytical mindset to interpret vulnerability reports and translate them into actionable insights.
Team player with strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, especially in written communication, to explain technical topics clearly.
Skills
Familiarity with cybersecurity tools like Shodan, ZoomEye, or similar platforms.
Experience with vulnerability analysis and reporting is a plus.
Knowledge of web security tools such as Burp Suite.
Basic experience with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
Ability to understand and interpret scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with command-line environments on Windows and Linux.
Fundamental knowledge of server systems, network security components, and Active Directory (AD).
