We are looking for a Data Engineer (Backend Developer) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and processing large-scale digital data related to companies, integrating with external systems, and building high-performance solutions to support our cybersecurity intelligence platform.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside our Data Research team (including Data Scientists, Computer Scientists, and Mathematicians) and Cybersecurity Research team, both of which are deeply involved in LLMs, AI-driven analytics, and advanced cybersecurity research. As a Data Engineer, you will be contributing to projects at the intersection of big data, machine learning, and cybersecurity intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems for collecting and processing digital risk data.

• Integrate external APIs and data sources to enhance the accuracy and depth of our cybersecurity assessments.

• Optimize data pipelines for speed, efficiency, and reliability, ensuring high-performance scanning capabilities.

• Work closely with experts in machine learning and cybersecurity research to support AI-driven analytics and large-scale data processing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, security analysts, and DevOps engineers to improve backend processes.

• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and peer reviews.

Tech Stack (We Work with a Variety of Technologies)

• Programming Languages: Python (experience with GoLang is a plus)

• Databases: SQL and NoSQL solutions

• Version Control: Git-based repositories

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)

• Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, or similar solutions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Strong experience in Python and backend development.

• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Git-based version control.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent is a plus).

• Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments is a plus.

• Interest in working with LLMs and AI-powered cybersecurity research is a strong advantage.
