Channel Marketing Manager

Job Overview: 

Black Kite is accelerating the growth of the Black Kite Aviator partner program, consisting of VARs, VADs, GSI’s, MSSPs and Technology Alliances. The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving marketing campaigns, events and activities to grow marketing-generated revenue contribution from channel partners. 

The ideal candidate will create and maintain strong relationships with partners and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Channel Marketing Manager will sit in the Marketing department and will also work closely with the Sales & Channel and Strategic Alliances teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive a comprehensive marketing strategy that promotes joint customer value and fosters loyal and productive partnerships
  • Manage the Black Kite Aviator partner program and all related sales, marketing and enablement materials that help partners understand and convey the power of Black Kite
    • Maintain all aspects of the partner portal, including general maintenance and upkeep, partner registration and deal registration processes, and content/training materials
  • Develop joint marketing campaigns with channel partners that highlight combined value proposition to generate new sales leads
  • Work with Channel Account Managers to develop partner strategies that align with overall pipeline growth and the acceleration of sales cycles
  • Design and deliver regular partner communications to drive program awareness, highlight new enablement materials and product features to help keep Black Kite top of mind
  • Support channel sales enablement efforts for both Black Kite and partner teams
  • Prioritize, plan and execute regional marketing activities and events, coordinating with internal and external partner teams to deliver ROI 
    • This includes (but is not limited to) virtual events like sponsored trade shows and industry events, road shows and multi-city events, webinars, and in-market events with local partners
    • Collaborate with Sales (Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives) to enable successful event outreach and drive event attendance
    • Ensure cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategies
  • Regularly evaluate program performance and results to enhance overall program strategy
    • Track lead generation efforts using partner deal registration and Hubspot/Salesforce campaigns

Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years channel marketing experience in a cybersecurity software company
  • BA or BS Degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to prioritize effectively, and to apply critical thinking and good judgment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations and interact effectively with team members and partners at all levels 
  • Strong personal drive, passion, enthusiasm and ethics
  • Experience with Salesforce (Required) and Hubspot (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel to events and partner activities within the US (30%)
